How can we improve the Unfavinator?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Delete All Favorites At Once

    Is there a way to delete ALL favorites at once? Thanks very much.

    Yes, the X button. It was a minus in the early version. We don’t want to run afoul of twitter automation rules. We are looking into a delete all option.

  2. Favourites don't show up anymore

    Hi there,

    I had about 2,000 favourites on Twitter and found your tool to delete all of them. I actually managed to delete a lot of them as I have now 671 favourites. Yet, they don't show up in Unfavinator, like there was not any more favourites. It's been a few hours since I've tried again and no favourites in sight...

    I'm using Safari on the latest version of Mac OS X Mavericks

    Hope you guys can help.

    All, this is a bug (or unsupported) in twitter’s API. There is a point in most people’s favorites history that the API just stops returning results. Often you can see the same “missing” favorites on the actual favorite list on Twitter.com. I hope to find a resolution, but we are stuck with it for now.

  3. Sort oldest favorites first

    UF shows favorites newest->oldest, I suggest a 'SORT' option to reverse this and show them oldest->newest

  4. Twitter no longer recognizes Unfavinator

    Hi, Happy New Year

    I was trying to test out the unfavinator app on another account but it looks like it just gets stuck in a login loop and Twitter is kicking off 2016 by not allowing it access -

    Here's how to replicate:

    *Sign in to your twitter account
    Go to Unfavavinator.com
    Click "Sign in with Twitter"
    Click "Authorize this app"
    Wait for Redirecting message
    You will be redirected back to the "Sign in with Twitter" page again...

    1)If Unfavinator is already granted access on an account it becomes broken (it can't see your favs)
    2)If you delete access…

  5. Mass delete

    Need a way to delete all, if not most Favs instead of clicking on each one, one at a time. This is time consuming as is.

  6. After Twitter Authentication - The Tool Doesn't Load

    After authentication, I am re-directed to the website opposed to the page changing to the tool. I've deleted the app from my twitter, cleared cache and tried multiple times. I also tried on Chrome and Firefox and two different Twitter accounts. Any idea?

  7. Add keyboard shortcut to unfavourite

    If you added two keyboard shortcuts to "KEEP" or "UNFAVOURITE" tweets, it would speed it up. Users could just tap fast on K or U to complete an action. If user holds finger down on U to unfavourite, they could quickly mass delete tweets

  8. Filter by date (before, after)

    It would be great to have filter by date option like Gmail search.

    "before yyyy/mm/dd" or "after yyyy/mm/dd"

  9. UNFAVINATOR NOT WORKING

    UNFAVINATOR WON'T ALLOW ME TO ACCESS OLDER TWEETS TO UNFAVORITE, PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP! I WANT ALL MY TWEETS UNFAVORITED! I KNOW THERE ARE MORE AND THEY EXIST, SO IT'S NOT A NUMBER BUG WITH TWITTER - UNFAVINATOR WON'T ALLOW ME TO GET TO OLDER TWEETS!

    When you view your favorites on your twitter profile do you see the tweets that are missing? Twitter does have a bug where they don’t show certain older favorites on the twitter site or via API. Those favorites will not show on your actual twitter profile either.

    If you provide your twitter name then I can look into it further.

    Hi, so i tried deleting some of my fav's on twitter, but it doesnt work.

  11. Maximise the number of tweets on a page

    I want to keep specific tweets faved but as I go on deleting they gradually build up and the amount of tweets I can unfav gets less which takes ahes

  18. Extend delete icon area to cover entire right side

    https://gyazo.com/e0614881152ed6a8b62a16972f9ee23c Suggestion: extending the (x) to cover the entire right side, to easier delete older tweets at the bottom first (don't want to remove newest). Tweets jump up and down at the bottom due to different length in text, so hard to spam delete.

    Love this app, thanks!
    This morning (4th Jan) I can not connect to any twitter account, it bounces back to your homepage. Is it a problem your end or have Twitter done something?

  20. support request

    I cannot seem to access the service. everytime i allow unfavinator access to twitter it takes me back to the start site and never gets to show my favourites. the service already worked for me a few weeks ago so I'm wondering what the problem might be
