This is an area where Gamer Launch users can suggest ideas on how to improve Gamer Launch functionality! When opening an idea, be sure to check out our Feature Request article for some guidelines.

If you are requesting that a game be added to the system, you want the Game Requests forum instead.

How can we make Guild Launch better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Support dropdown menus on the main navigation

    I think that it would be a great idea to have the main navigation support drop down menus. It not only would look cool. But allow guilds to create less pages dedicated to branching out to other pages if you get what I mean.

    This feature is now available in our V5 system that is in opt-in beta. We are not yet doing menus under menus (because the custom section doesn’t support this yet), but it is supported by the implementation and already implemented in Rapid Raid.

  2. Award System

    About award system:

    • Can we see a list of all members with the total points they earned?
      I understood we had this in the past, it would be so awesome to have it back!

    • To see on a member's profile how many points he/she earned.

    • When someone isn't a member anymore, they will automatically be removed from all the awards he/she received from the guild.
      Because when i remove a member from the site, his/her name is still in the list of the award.. this means i have to check everything over and over again, and in future for each…

  3. Embed Chat on home page

    Be able to embed the Chat feature / window on the main page, without it opening to a new window or popup. Enjin have this feature, it is probebrly the only thing their sites have over guildlaunch. It helps bring the site community together in realtime chat, a seperate page does not work..no one goes to it or even looks at it, may as well not even have it as it stands

  4. iOS/Android Guild Launch App!

    Would happily pay for an app so that I don't have to login to my guild's site every time from my iPhone/iPad and to have everything in proportion and organised for the mobile interface. Could have sections for shouts, upcoming raids, new forum posts etc.

  5. Calendar Functionality Improvements

    I'm organizing the calendar functionality requests into one so that we can readily see all the requests for what people would like, and see what is feasible and what isn't.

    Changing the starting day on the calendar from Sunday to Monday has been implemented. While we may revisit syncing in-game calendars with out-of-game calendars, it is not something we are going to implement at this time.

  6. Update the Powers for DCUO as Celestial is now a new power.

    A new DLC has come out for DC Universe Online and our league would like to see the Celestial added for characters power types.

  7. Mobile Friendly

    Could you please make this site mobile friendly? I would love to use the forums directly on my phone without having to resize. I have used guildlaunch for years with WoW,and i love how the forum system is set up. But now i would like to use it for a mobile mmo.

    We currently have a beta out for our mobile-optimized version of the site; we are looking into improving it more in the future, but for right now the basics are in place.

  8. Minecraft Login Server Status widget

    E.g. Have a Minecraft login server status addon (like status.spout.org or help.mojang.com) and maybe integration with Towny (http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/towny-advanced/)

    The Planetside 2 Server list is outdated; many servers have been merged or renamed. Current servers: Connery, Emerald, Cobalt, Miller, and Briggs.

  14. Option to choose different feeds for LOTRO game news

    Currently, the LOTRO game news feed comes from the LOTRO vault website. That website is very out of date regarding LOTRO news and is still showing news items from 2010 as recent news. Suggest either pulling the news feed directly from the LOTRO website or give admins the option to choose which fan site the news feed comes from. Thanks.

    You can use the RSS feed widget to pull LotRO news from other sources.

  15. Give us the ability to divide our members into squads.

    I love this site and its doing incredible for my needs but I wish I could divide my members into smaller groups, like a CMS of sorts. My clan is divided down like this, Clan, Armada, Fleet. and it would be nice to be able to identify which fleet a member is in when I view the roster.

    You can do something like this with our Admin Menu → Games → Games Played functionality. Basically, you can include each fleet as a different ‘game’ on the site. They’re all members of the same site and can be in the same permission group, but it lets you easily sort by ‘game’ for each separate fleet.

  17. Please add some sort of Gallery or sub forum through Guild Launch's main site that lets us browse other guild sites.

    There are some wonderfully well done sites out there that could be really inspirational to fledgling guild leaders and they'd be great for showcasing the capabilities of a fully customized Guild Launch site.

    Tera Online – EU is now its own game in the system, and has all the current servers.

  19. World of Tanks needs more support PLEASE.

    World of Tanks is the current #1 shooter on the web. How about some templates ,tools, widgets game specific? Any plans?
