The Infinite Black
The Infinite Black is a iOS/Droid and soon to be multi-platform space PVP style game, marginally similar to EVE Online. The game is developed by Whalesong Games, recently renamed to Spellbook and their website (today) is www.whalesonggames.com. There are thousands of TIB players and there is no infrastructure out there today for a hosted guild website. There are no guilds in the game, instead they are organized into corporations which are allied together into an alliance. Every alliance has a home planet, every corporation has a home garrison. Players have up to 7 slots of inventory: Weapon, Armor, Storage, Harvester, Engine, Computer and Special. Any of these items can exist in one the following rarity levels, which are only usable by a certain level player: Common (Grey, 0+), Uncommon (Green, 5+), Rare (Blue, 10+), Ultra-Rare (Purple, 15+), Legendary (Orange, 20+), Precursor (Red, 25+) or Ultimate (White/Yellow, 30+). Every weapon, armor or storage has a ranking, which determines how many equipment points it consumes in your ship, between 1 -30. The developer website has a published leaderboard and ship outfitter, and they provide a regularly updated CSV file with a complete list of all items that exist in the game.
