This is an area where Gamer Launch users can suggest ideas on how to improve Gamer Launch functionality! When opening an idea, be sure to check out our Feature Request article for some guidelines.

If you are requesting that a game be added to the system, you want the Game Requests forum instead.

How can we make Guild Launch better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Image Box

    Just a plain image box where you can put an image in. The countdown widget is great but the writing goes on image as you got to modify background for an image to go on. if you had an image box then you could put image just above countdown widget. Or you could add an image box to the countdown widget so image was above the countdown.

    We implemented this before WoD and it was out in production, so I’m setting it as complete. :)

    If there were a YouTube widget so you could link videos to the site's main page.

    While there isn’t a dedicated Youtube widget, you can add the embed code from the Youtube video to an HTML widget, which will display the video.

  6. Music Widget

    I suggest making a widget that allows for the playing of Google Drive or Dropbox music. This would be nice.

    While we aren’t planning to do a custom widget like you’re describing, Thomas posted a way to add it to your site through the Google Gadgets widget. :)

  7. Widget, For who is in the Raid team, by class and Spec, for World of warcraft.

    Is there a Widget or Something for the webite that will allow us to Add raid member and be able to see who is in the raid by class and Spec??     It’s not a widget persay, but this can be done using the Raid Roster setup in Rapid Raid.

  9. Music players for more than just the homepage

    There should be a music player for all the pages, but not to where it repeats, it just keeps going like on all those music players websites. For example, songza.com, music.xbox.com. Both of these, in regards to primarily being a music website, have different links you can click while the music keeps going. This way, every time I go to admin page, or different links like the group roster, I can simply go to each page and enjoy the same music at the time I clicked the link.

    While there isn’t a specific Music widget for what you’re describing, you can definitely use the Google Gadget or HTML widget to embed a third party function to do what you’re describing. :)

  10. Add More Widget

    Hey staff, can you make more widget??
    For example, you can an aquarium fish where we can drop by in someone site and feeding the fish. And also chatting is important. And also you should put banner or frame if you want to show ads. Whats about we can decorate ads by putting some frame. Just suggestion. Hope you guys approved my wish

    While we don’t specifically have an aquarium widget, you can add third party widgets through the HTML widget and the Google Gadget widget. :)

    We aren’t planning to allow users to apply customization to ads (it might make it look like we were enticing users to click the ads, which would be bad).

  11. Last forum posts widget

    This widget is great!

    But there is one concern. The post from Special permission forums should NOT be shown in the widget. OR only be shown to members with that forum access.

    In this case, Officers forum. It is important that ONLY officers can see what is posted in the officers section. This works fine on the forums.

    The Last 5 post Widget, shows the officer forum topic. This is not good and we have to consider not using the widget, unless there is a way for the widget NOT to show officers topics.

    Otherwise the widget is GREAT!

    The Last Forum Posts widget only shows posts based on your permissions on the site – if a user can’t view that forum, its threads won’t show up in the widget for them.
