This is an area where Gamer Launch users can suggest ideas on how to improve Gamer Launch functionality! When opening an idea, be sure to check out our Feature Request article for some guidelines.

How can we make Guild Launch better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Showcasing Images

    Allowing images from a certain folder, to be showcased on the front page with its title and description and allowing it to scroll after a period of time set by the admin between 3-12 secs long. and restricting the image to 200 px.

  4. Replace Races with Classes to the characters in RaiderZ

    There are no other races avaliable other than human in raiderz so that information is reduntant and cannot be deleted as of the moment.

    There are 4 classes to play on your character in raiderz as of the moment.

    This has been updated – when we added RaiderZ there wasn’t much information on character creation, but now that we have it it’s a quick process to update it.

    Also adding an upgrade widget for upgrading pve or pve gear to the best possible gear enchants etc

    User Profiles are already in the system, and are actively getting an overhaul in the near future. :)

  6. Insert an ability for members to change Classes and Roles?

    I play DCUO where players are able to change their class and roles. Any player Class can easily switch back-and-forth between their DPS role and their specified Role for that Class. Players can also use Station Cash to purchase a Class Change Token. These tokens can be used to change their Class, (Gadgets, to Earth, to Celestial, etc.), which might also change which Role they can switch to in-game.

    There is an option to update class data on the default tab for that individual character. Go to your User Profile → Characters → the individual character and you can update it on that page.

  7. Allow additional fields in the non-imported rosters

    Allowing us to add a couple of additional fields into the rosters that do not use the import function would let us take information gathered from a custom application and move it over to the roster where it would be the most useful and available to the entire league. This field would be edited by admin only and could allow us to create a far more robust roster without resorting to importing a spreadsheet.

    Users may join as many guilds as they would like with their Guild Launch account.

  10. Maintenance Widget

    A simple widget that I can enter upcoming game maintenance times. Does not have to pull the data from anywhere, but should allow me to quickly enter date, start and end times.

  11. Add Avatars To "Who is Online Now" Widget

    Allow the option to show the avatar for each member online in the "Who Is Online Now" widget - in the same way that the avatar is shown on the "Latest Forum Posts" widget.

    The guild roster for the game Wakfu should have an additional option to display the character's nation, as this is a crucial part of the gameplay.

    Wakfu is now updated to properly display Nation and the new classes.

  14. Multiple admins/officers able to edit the guild bank.

    I think it would benefit alot of guilds if there was a way to allow admins/officers to change the guild bank.

    Because in previous games we had a system where you ask the guild leaders/officers for items in the bank in game or via the forums, it would be easier if multiple members of the website could do this as it would decrease the load on the site owner. (Im using my website for gw2 but i know that there are loads of other people that use the same system) If possible add the feature into the permission groups tab…

  15. Show Remaining Storage Space

    Under Admin > Reports, there needs to be a report that tells you how much storage you are using. It would be nice if you could drill down into where you are consuming storage such as messages, Wiki, gallery and the like.

    This is shown on the File Library – only things uploaded to the Image Gallery or the File Library take up storage space on the site.

  16. Adding - Games Played

    After already registering for the site, I cannot find an option to edit the "Games Played" in the profile section. You can only add games played while creating you account, or at least I cannot find an option to edit it.

    If there is currently no way to add/delete "Games Played", I would recommend adding it. If there is already such an option, I would recommend making it easier to find. Have the option on the 'Edit Profile" page.

    If you add a character for the game you’d like to show, it will display in the Games Played section.

  17. Move the feeback bar

    As I'm working on the site in the admin section I've notice the feedback bar is hovering over about 1/3 of my menu. I can use it if I scroll down. however it's just a bit of a pain in the arse.

  18. Monk spec

    I can't update my spec for my Monk because there isn't anything but "n/a". There should be "Brewmaster", "Mistweaver", and "Windwalker". Please add these so I can update my specs.

  20. Adding "Community" in game list

    Is it possible, so get an option like "Community" in the game list ?
    RisK is a gaming community and we play alot of different games.
    How ever, when making a guild you are forced in picking 1 game and its server... I would like to pick community (and than no server) after that adding 1 or 2 guild names we use INGAME of specific games
