Report Post & Like Post buttons
In forums, it would be nice to have an additional button show up on forum posts that allowed you to "report post" to the forum admin, for example for spam, etc.
Also, although I realise there is a kind of "this is a nice post" up and down button, I think that could be improved to, say, a thumbs up/thumbs down option, or simply a "like" option (for example of "like", have a look at the posts on http://wow.joystiq.com). It is more obvious what it is actually there for, and I'm pretty sure most people don't even notice the current "like/dislike" system. (Another suggestion would be to have something show at the bottom of the post indicating "user1, user2 and user3 liked this post").

This is not currently planned to be included in a development cycle, but we may revisit it at a later date.

could we re-look at this? I do tend to leave spam until it's been on there at least 24 hours on a working day, but if there's a lot of it, or it's been there longer, I feel I need to point it out - and currently the only way really to do that is email. I'm pretty sure you have better things to do than deal with my cluttering up your mail box with spam reports.

I submitted a Feature Request to use the Up vote counter to generate member recognition awards for up votes. 10 up votes, for example generates a small award, with an award graphic beneath the person's avatar on Forum pages. The winner would also get a personal notification. This recognition of well received posts encourages great member participation and increased site visits. The recipient feels acknowledged for their effort. Please give my idea an Up vote, especially since it ties in to your suggestion.
