This is an area where Gamer Launch users can suggest ideas on how to improve Gamer Launch functionality! When opening an idea, be sure to check out our Feature Request article for some guidelines.

If you are requesting that a game be added to the system, you want the Game Requests forum instead.

How can we make Guild Launch better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

    Embedded videos are allowed on the homepage of Guild Launch sites. :)

  2. Destiny?

    Any work on going on for destiny support? Our league is making a huge move from DC Universe Online to destiny with the upcoming September 9th release. Maybe a service status widget or other destiny specified widgets? I know right now it may be to early to create any of those things, but it would be nice to know if they are in the works or not. Thanks!

    We implemented this before WoD and it was out in production, so I’m setting it as complete. :)

  4. Greed for Glory Membership Application term change

    Firstly, thanks so much for adding Greed for Glory! I was editing our group site and I noticed that it says, "Apply to Clan". Is there any way to have it changed to "Apply to Kingdom"? Groups are called Kingdoms in Greed for Glory.

    If not, that's ok. I really appreciate your guys' time!

  5. Please install a 3rd party application that allows us to view viewers using the chat voice system. It will make it easier for the Admins.

    It will make it easier for the admins. Also try setting up the voice server through a well known client like Ventrilo or TeamSpeak. So Admins for the Guild can easierly reach each other if there is a problem. We are not in the same time zone.

    There are currently status widgets for TS3, Mumble and Ventrilo that will show who is logged into your voice server. :)

  6. Add Phaeris server for Wakfu

    You have all the European servers for Wakfu, (wakfu.com) but lack WakfuAPAC's Phaeris server (wakfu.asia).

  8. Add EU support for Path of Exile

    There seems to be just US server listed for Path of Exile. Would be nice to get it more truthful by adding the option for European server as well. Looking forward some better integration with Path of Exile guilds in the near future, if this happens, I'll get my own guild site running up here!

    There is a link to our support areas in the footer of every Guild Launch site, which includes a contact form.

  11. Aura Kingdom new Server

    Aura Kingdom now has a german server called Aurora. Also the Brawler, Ranger and Ronin classes are missing.

  13. Allow users to hide signatures

    An option to hide sigs. I'm shocked that this is not a thing already. I don't mind people having whatever sigs they want to have but, most forums are a crowded mess of visual dolphin squeaks.

    This is already in the system. You can disable all signatures on the Admin Menu → Features → Forums → Settings area of your site, and disable individual user signatures on the Admin Menu → Permissions → Member Moderation area of the site.

  15. Social Activity Stream

    The Social Side of Guild Launch

    I would really like to see some added functionality that encourages members to be active on the guild website bar keeping up with updates. On our last host this was successfully done by implementing something similar to a social community part. It was very well received by my members and included the following:

    A Facebook-ish activity site stream, that in addition to listing what the site activity stream usually does also allowed members to post various things (text, images, links etc) they wanted to share with their guildies. This could maybe be made available…

  16. Last forum posts widget

    This widget is great!

    But there is one concern. The post from Special permission forums should NOT be shown in the widget. OR only be shown to members with that forum access.

    In this case, Officers forum. It is important that ONLY officers can see what is posted in the officers section. This works fine on the forums.

    The Last 5 post Widget, shows the officer forum topic. This is not good and we have to consider not using the widget, unless there is a way for the widget NOT to show officers topics.

    Otherwise the widget is GREAT!

    The Last Forum Posts widget only shows posts based on your permissions on the site – if a user can’t view that forum, its threads won’t show up in the widget for them.

  17. You cannot make another post so soon after your last REMOVED

    Kill the timer that creates "You cannot make another post so soon after your last". If you want this in a non premium site then ok. But it need to be removed from paid sites.

    This has been patched up and should be acting in a much more user-friendly manner now. :)

    User Profiles are already in the system, and are actively getting an overhaul in the near future. :)

  19. Wildfire has had new servers added to their EU and NA PvE and PvP lists

    I think i posted this in the wrong area, but they have added more servers to the list.

    While we haven’t implemented Ideal specifically, we did recently add Bitcoin to the payment options for voice servers!
