This is an area where Gamer Launch users can suggest ideas on how to improve Gamer Launch functionality! When opening an idea, be sure to check out our Feature Request article for some guidelines.

If you are requesting that a game be added to the system, you want the Game Requests forum instead.

How can we make Guild Launch better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Upload Custom CSS and HTML files

    Im a IT Student and have been learning Websites, HTML, and CSS.
    As part of a final project i made a guild site. when i tried to move even small parts of this to the website i couldnt get it to work. you have a custom CSS part, but it doesnt give you what page is being edited, or even what it can edit, or even any helpful information. Is there any chance of adding the ability to upload HTML and CSS files and get them to work on the site?

    We currently support both HTML and custom CSS! Custom CSS is available either through the Site Style tab of your admin menu (on V4 sites) or through the Manage Styles options (on V5 sites).

    HTML can be added to the HTML widget, custom sections, forum posts and more to make changes to the site as well. :)

  2. Destiny?

    Any work on going on for destiny support? Our league is making a huge move from DC Universe Online to destiny with the upcoming September 9th release. Maybe a service status widget or other destiny specified widgets? I know right now it may be to early to create any of those things, but it would be nice to know if they are in the works or not. Thanks!

    We do support Destiny, and if you have any specific feedback on things you’d like to see, we’d be glad to hear it! :)

  3. Phantasy Star Online 2 Character Roster Update and server update

    Namely the level, Class, and Race need to be worked on as well as the server.

    For levels, there need to be, if possible 7 levels for each of the classes, since each class level are separated.

    For Classes, the seven classes are: Hunter, Fighter, Ranger, Gunner, Force, Techer, and Braver. In addition there should be a selection for the Main Class and Sub Class.

    For Races, there is Human, Newman, Casts, and Deuman.

    As for the Server. Japan's server have 10 ships. If possible could this be updated please?

    I’ve just added Deuman and updated the class lists. I’m not sure what you’re describing with the ships on the server, though – if you email support@guildlaunch.com with more information about it, I’ll gladly look into it further!

  4. Add the missing house options (Tyrell, Tully, Martell) into Game of Thrones: Ascent

    Cahracter roster needs these new options added.

    I notice there is no option for Elder Scrolls Online but there is an option for Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. I think you meant this to read "Elder Scrolls Online."

  8. Double columns for news

    I would like to request double columns for the widget that is for front page news. This way the site would look more like GameSkinny. Thus, we could have two smaller columns side by side instead of stacked on top of each other. In short, it makes the site look more like a news site or a blog.

    While we don’t currently offer widgets that span multiple columns, if you remove all the widgets from one column, it will collapse in – effectively leaving you with two columns like you’re looking for. :)

  9. Make an raid log, like activity log. An activity log where raids will be shown: wed 23/10/2013 - SoO flex 1 - Which is clickable

    If you only use the calendar for raids, then it becomes unhandy.
    Having an activity log over raids, which make em clickable directly to the signing page would be to prefer.
    An activity log like:
    [Day of week] [date]- [raid] [text]
    Wed 23/10/2013 - SoO Flex part 1

    which could contain the next upcoming 5 raids or so..

    This can be done with our Rapid Raid functionality, which has more robust raid options than the built-in event calendar.

  10. Would love to see 5.4 World of Warcraft Template

    I love the templates for the site! I think the better ones for WoW have had the bosses/raid featured. I would love to see a new template for 5.4/ tier 16 Siege of Orgrimmar. Maybe Hellscream on the side?

  11. Customizable Gravatar that or themed for Game

    Can we get a Gravatar with a toggle so we can customize based on the game(s) we play. Like the Star Trek Arrow or one that we can upload.

    You are now able to pick a default avatar from any image uploaded to your file library. You can find this functionality in Admin under the Rosters → Default Avatar heading.

    If you hover your cursor over the badge in question, it will have a description for how that badge is received. Hope this helps!

  14. Add more Guild Wars 2 Templates!

    I would like a lot more options with Guild Wars 2 templates. Especially seasonal ones for Halloween, Christmas, etc. I just feel like there is so much to do with their art style, and you guys can definitely have more!

    We currently have eight Guild Wars 2 templates in the system, with plans for more in the works. :) I don’t know specifically about seasonal ones, but I’ll check!

    Hey! Can you allow us to add our own templates? Like if we find a picture or screenshot we'd like to use, we should be able to create custom template for our site.

    This can already be done with the Template Builder or with current site customization tools.

  17. offer mp3's that work with your site.

    it would be pretty nice if you guys offered your own mp3 players that worked for your site or at least suggest a few with links..Only because the few i've downloaded want work.I keep getting error messages files ending in exe want work for security reason etc.

    There is a Homepage Music player already built-in to Guild Launch, which you can use to play music by setting it up through the ‘Homepage Music’ link on the ‘Features’ tab of Admin.

  19. Well add so you can make the picture go with the page when you scroll down

    There is no option that allows the picture to follow when you scroll down it only repeats and this is a not good need to be changed so the it follows when you scroll down

    You can set the background image to be ‘fixed’ on the customization menu.
