This is an area where Gamer Launch users can suggest ideas on how to improve Gamer Launch functionality! When opening an idea, be sure to check out our Feature Request article for some guidelines.

If you are requesting that a game be added to the system, you want the Game Requests forum instead.

How can we make Guild Launch better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

If it doesn't exist, you can post your idea so others can support it.

    For forum RP it would a nice feature to add a dice roll.

    This is something we may revisit in a future release, but isn’t currently planned to be in a development sprint.

  2. Forum Moderators and MVP posting text colors

    Have a function where the color for forum moderators and site admin text can be set to a default colour, Like having all forum moderators and admin having a blue text colour when they post. Also having a MVP program for our forums where admin can choose MVP and lets say there color of forum text is set to green. But ofc admin can have the choice to change these text colour under admin page just incase the theme of the website changes and the color does not look good with the them.

    While this isn’t something we’re currently planning to put in a sprint (in the near future), it’s definitely something we’d like to look into!

  3. Linking Guild Ranks with Forum Permissions

    Being able to link permissions to guild ranks, instead of setting them in the permissions area of the Admin tab and having to manually add each individual to both the guild rank and site permissions areas.

    This is something that we plan to do, but is not currently on a development timeline.

  4. Mark thread/post as unread

    It would be great if we would be able to mark a thread or post as unread. Just as we can do so in e-mail applications.

    Use case:
    User reads forum in the late evening. He wants to answer in one of the threads, but he is too tired/sleepy/drunk/whatever to do it now, so decides to do it in the morning.
    Marking the thread as unread would help him to find it (or even remember that there was post he wanted to answer).
