How do I create new channels on my Mumble server?

You can add new channels (and subchannels) to your Mumble server on the server itself, as long as you have the server-side permissions to do so. The admin certificate has these permissions by default.

To do so, follow these instructions:
  • Open the Mumble client.
  • Log onto your server.
  • Right click the Server Name once you have logged onto the server.
  • Click Add.
  • In the Name field, enter the name of the new channel.
  • Click Ok.
  • You're done!
