Gamer Launch Server Upgrade and Migration - Useful Information and FAQ
UPDATE:
There was a temporary issue with full domains and secondary domains (corplaunch.com, swtorhost.com , wowlaunch.com ) not completely pointing properly. This should be resolved as of 7:30 this morning; if you are still having an issue, please force-refresh the site and flush your DNS before logging a ticket.
How to Flush DNS
What's happening:
- We're upgrading our hardware. That means faster load times, a plethora of additional features, and an overall increase in performance on guild sites.
When:
- The migration was performed on Monday, February 10th, 2014.
What do I need to do?
Regular Users:
Nothing. The only way this should affect you is by making things Better, Faster, Stronger.
Admins:
- If you have set up a Full Domain for your site, you will need to update the A Record with your registrar so it points to the new IP (216.178.226.170) . Instructions on how to do this can be found here.
- If you have whitelisted our IP address for your voice server so our widgets can ping it, you will need to update that whitelist so it includes the new IP (216.178.226.170) .
