How can we improve GameSkinny?

  1. Option to group reviews into a list (For Related Reviews)

    I was thinking that it would be a very interesting idea to be able to group our reviews into a list, just as Youtube has 'playlists'.

    I have a review series currently that includes my favorite games on the GameCube, but there is no way to link them together, and it's a little upsetting.

  2. URL Bug

    Hi. I changed the url for my profile page. It worked, almost. The url did change but when I go to a post I have written and click on my author name it redirects to the url which is now a blank page.

    I changed back the url to the original url so you can fix this first.

  3. I'd like to be able to see my content

    I'd like the ability in my profile to be able to see all my replies to articles that are still being posted.

  4. Quote Attribution

    I wish there was a more attractive way of adding attribution to quotes. Something slightly smaller, but set into the form. Especially for pullquotes where it looks terribly tacked on.

  5. BUG Posted a review, can't change rating.

    I posted a review and after talking with the editors, realized that it needed to have a higher rating. I attempted to change the rating and save the new number. The new number won't take. I moved it to draft and tried again that way, with no success, either. This is the article in question.

  6. Bug - In Awaiting Edits hitting 'Remove' brings me back to GS homepage

    If I am looking at http://www.gameskinny.com/admin/awaiting-edits and I want to remove an article, hitting 'Remove' then 'Ok' occasionally spits me back to http://www.gameskinny.com/#.

  7. Video posts do not display author name anywhere

    Video posts still do not display author name in post at all (not top nor bottom). We can see author with special admin superpowers, but it is currently not possible for readers to know who posted a video.

  8. In-post Amazon ad looks bad

    It's weirdly centered and shows up seemingly at random for each article - it makes editing a chore since I don't where images and headers/subheaders/pullquotes are going to line up with that ad. Since the add already is centered and has lots of white space it can really ruin the looks and format of a post right now.

    If we are doing an ad like this it would look much better in the right-hand content gutter or in a uniform manner that also adds less white space.

  9. RSS Feeds Do Not Validate

    In both Firefox and RSSOwl, the RSS feeds don't show any content or give an error. When checking the RSS URL with Feed Validator, this is the result:

  10. Bigger font-size for article heading/subheading

    The font-size for the article headings/subheadings is small enough that it doesn't really stand out against the normal font. It would be great if that could get changed so our posts would look more dynamic.

  11. Lightbox/Colorbox

    We need a way to show larger images on articles. For those of us covering guides, sometimes we need a full size image to display maps. An easy way to implement this is with jquery and a light box plugin.

  12. More social links on Profiles

    I would love to see more networks added that we could use for links on our profiles, such as Twitch. Maybe add a few more website url fields as well in case people have multiple websites they'd like to showcase here.

  13. Ability to Add in Charts

    Like in Microsoft Word, where you can give it the amount of cells you need and it makes a chart that you can fill in with content.
    With some of the guides I'm working on, it would just be a lot easier/cleaner/prettier/more readable to input the info into a chart rather than putting into a bulleted list.

    Good evening :)

    Fantastic site! I just discovered it, glad I did.

    I tried to sign in via Steam, but the page didn't load anywhere - just a white screen. I am on Chrome, Windows 8 OS.
