How can we make Guild Launch better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

Drop-down menu customization (using images as links, specifying link URLs etc.)

I'd like the option to use image files as drop-down menu links the same way you already can use pictures for rest of the navigation bar. And also, in addition to this, the ability to customize the URLs of those links.

Related to this, I'd also prefer that the 'Gallery' and 'Guild Roster' navigation menu links WOULDN'T force drop-down menu structure. For example it seems currently impossible to create a nav-bar link which points ONLY to Gallery (keeping File Library hidden), instead you ALWAYS get the drop-down menu with both 'Gallery' and 'File Library' links whatever you do...

And allowing us to customize the URLs would mean we could for example use simply "/roster" at the end of the domain to get a different type of Character roster view (that looks much better than the huge blocks...)

Really not that big of a deal to create, so I wish we get these features asap!

Add an additional Status for Applications to indicate it is waiting a response

We often have to ask questions, and wait for a response, from applicants, prior to making a decision as to whether we should accept them. This apparently confuses them because, although we stress they should visit the website regularly to check for replies on their application, they don't. They do, however, obviously receive the auto-responses. Therefore, it would be great if we could have a status such as "Awaiting Response", with an associated "auto-response" attached to it .. so they're prodded into re-visiting their application in order to reply to it.

A Shopping Widget

I believe there should be a shopping widget. For my MC server, we have ranks that you can buy via paypal. At the moment, we are using the donation tool and have the players send an e-mail. This works for a small server, but as we grow we will need something more efficient.

TLS Encryprion for Guild Sites

Most Websites use Encryption to Secure their website. Just like Gamer Launch does with its own sites.
But there is no such option for the guils sites itself. Meaning user data is going unprotected through the internet during login to a web site.
In times of LetsEncrypt Certificates, it is pretty easy and wothout costs to use HTTPS.

I suggest a HTTPS option for Website-URLs

Let's Encrypt

For sites using custom domain names from domain name providers, we need the ability to use SSL/TSL certificates. "Let's Encrypt" provides built in support for their service if the website hosting company supports it. Gamer Launch needs to provide this for the guild sites using their own domain name from the admin panel.

Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) character add should ask for @Handle

Currently: When we are adding a new character for the game Elder Scrolls Online, it doesn't have a spot for @Handle. We can currently put our @Handle in our character slot but we can't enforce this from our applicants.

Please consider adding:

@Handle and Character name separately, and allow us the choice to choose which one we want filled out (mandatory). This would let us enforce an @Handle from applicants policy.

dropdown menu top nav bar

Custom Drop down in the top navbar please, I would like to be able to add a link of my choosing and put forums, clan roaster etc under it so certain links would be in one drop down menu, like as you will see in the attachment not only being able to move them up and down to reorder like you currently have be able to move them side to side and as you do so it will place them in a drop down menu under

HTML renders through application and cross post to forum instead of displaying raw code.

Currently, if we had HTML to our applications, when the application comes BACK to us, it displays as raw code making the answers difficult to read. If you have "post to forum" checked off, it also posts the code to the forum instead of rendering it.

Please make it so when the application is submitted, we see the colors/fonts etc instead of raw code, in both application review and forum areas.

Please add "Platform" to the list of Criteria in Eldersrcolls Online searches.

With console release of ESO there needs to be a way for ESO players to also specify Platform in their searches.
We need: Mac, PC, PS4, and Xbox1.

Pantheon - Rise of the Fallen

Patheon has announced that we will see alpha before the holidays and we are planning on recruiting before, during and after Alpha. GameVox voice chat widget.

GameVox is an up and coming company that came out of beta a few months ago. It would be great if we had a widget similar to your other voice chat support.

They currently support their own "Status Viewer" which is a javascript tag to copy onto a normal webpage, so I'd think it would be straight forward to add. See below for example (broken link for privacy):

it would me cool if u all are able to make a trip logger for american truck simulator and euro truck simulator 2 trip logger. if u able to do this that would be nice for other player's to have a webpage and trip logger in one site either then having 2 sites going at once. I know it will not be easy to make a trip logger for both of them. but if u can that might blow virutaltruckingmanger.com and tour-o-matic.net out of waters since they are only a trip logger site for both games. u might need make another tab in the webpages for those games for stat's or job's. for ppl can check them out. I'm not sure if this actually belongs in Templates or site settings, but my Guild is considering creating some custom scripting. I could not find a tutorial or details about what scripting language is used on GL.

A FAQ about scripts and scripting would be a great start, as well as a Tutorial or a link to external resources for learning and using the script language used on GL.

These features could benefit many GL guilds, and be a useful marketing and PR piece for Guild Launch.
