This is an area where Gamer Launch users can suggest ideas on how to improve Gamer Launch functionality! When opening an idea, be sure to check out our Feature Request article for some guidelines.

If you are requesting that a game be added to the system, you want the Game Requests forum instead.

How can we make Guild Launch better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Provide a tutorial of the site.

    Providing a link to a tutorial of the site on the main page would give new users a chance to experience and familiarize themselves with the site as a whole.

    Each new site has a link to the video tutorial on site basics embedded in it.

  2. Allow websites for gaming communities that play over several different games.

    The guild/outfit im with [Phoenix Battalion] are a group of people that see ourselves as more of a community of gamers that play many different games rather than a guild for just one specific game. I would like to see the option for guild leaders to create a website for this kind of community rather than these game specific sites.

    This is already an option. There is a Multi-Game Organization and a Community option, and the Multi-game Functionality (on the Games tab of Admin) lets you choose all the games that you are currently playing.

  3. Allowing us to be able to change back ground colors on our page

    in order to make it more unique I would like to be able to put or guild logo in the back ground of the page and make it transparent and what ever colors I would like the pages to be and be able to put a logo by our names and such

  4. Add more Guild Wars 2 Templates!

    I would like a lot more options with Guild Wars 2 templates. Especially seasonal ones for Halloween, Christmas, etc. I just feel like there is so much to do with their art style, and you guys can definitely have more!

    We currently have eight Guild Wars 2 templates in the system, with plans for more in the works. :) I don’t know specifically about seasonal ones, but I’ll check!

    If you hover your cursor over the badge in question, it will have a description for how that badge is received. Hope this helps!

    This is available on the Roster tab of the Admin menu – you can assign ‘Site Admin’ and ‘Forum Moderator’ to an account.

  7. New souls added to rift soul selections

    with the expansion 4 new souls were added

  8. Guild Wars 2

    The ability to show the Guild Bank on the website so members can leave messages in a specific forum as to what they would like officers to send them would be great. I can't find it for GW2, but I understand this is available for other games? Is this planned?

    This is accessible on the Primary Navigation area (on the Site Structure tab of the Admin menu). You can add a Guild Bank link (it’s a Default Section).

  9. MWO Faction "Lone Wolf" / Clans

    In the application process there is the option to 'ask members for character information'. One of the questions in this is for their 'faction'. Please add "Lone Wolf" to the options or allow them a way to manually type their clan name.

  11. Public Test Server on Star Wars: The Old Republic

    Please add the Public Test Server to the server selection list for SWTOR. There are several regular guilds there, including Primus and Alpha - two of the originals set up for testing, for which I would like to create sites.

    This is currently available with the Alliance functionality (on the Features tab of admin).

    You can choose to Close an application instead of Rejecting it outright. There’s also an option to edit the Auto Responses that someone receives – this is in the right column on the application in the Recruiting tab of Admin.

    There is a Teamspeak 3 widget available in the system already. :)

    Admins can currently organize the site application on the Admin Menu → Recruiting → Site Application area of the site. :)

    You can add a character easily by clicking the ‘Add Character’ link on your User Profile or the site’s character roster.

  19. Moderators access

    Great site, but I feel that it would be better if moderators could add events to the calendar instead of administrators only, that way you could promote someone to mod and let them create events while the admins can work more the customization of the site and guild ranks.

    This is already in the system – you can add users to a Permission Group with permissions to update the calendar without giving them full customization privileges.

  20. Allow Admins to make members redo their application.

    So if they made a mistake or something they can redo it or if the Admin added a new question they could fill out the question.

    This functionality is available; you can Close an application (so it’s not Rejected) and send them a PM explaining why.
