Gamer Launch Feature Requests
This is an area where Gamer Launch users can suggest ideas on how to improve Gamer Launch functionality! When opening an idea, be sure to check out our Feature Request article for some guidelines.
If you are requesting that a game be added to the system, you want the Game Requests forum instead.

full wysiwyg editor & copy/paste capability
Since the last thread is closed and I cannot add my vote to it, here goes a new one: I'm new to GL and was appalled when I first tried to post information from a web based guide for a new WoW boss into a forum post. I actually did not post all the information that should have been included because it was too much effort trying to create the existing formatting and links manually. Essentially, I find the editor unsuitable for conveying the information I want our team to have, in an efficient way.
Please consider adding a proper…

Auto redirect back to thread after posting
Currently, when you make a new post on the forum, you're directed to a page that confirms you've made a post and gives you links to get back to your post or back to the forum. That's silly - it's a dead page, providing no useful information, and just forces users to have to click again. I recommend you just automatically take the user back to the thread they posted in, as 95% of other forums do. If they want to get back to the forum instead, it's still only one click away from there.

Link Url for email notifications
When you subscribe to a forum or you post on a thread and choose the option to watch that thread via email you get emails with plain text urls.
My suggestion: make those plain text urls click able or at least have an option where an admin can turn it on.
Reason: I receive at least 10 emails a day from my guild's website and it would make life a little bit simpler to be able to just click the link instead of copy and pasting.
I'm sure it wouldn't take a hell of a lot of coding either :P
17 votesThis has been completed. Topic and Forum reply notifications will now have both a plain text and a clickable URL. In many EMAIL clients this will be redundant, but for those using email clients that do not turn the link into a clickable link this should fix the issue.

Add colors
Add colors to ranks and the like, otherwise the forums look "fugly" and bland.
Make forums more "bendable" when it comes to admin options.
14 votesThis is manageable with custom CSS or the advanced customization menu on the Site Style tab of Admin.

Some GuildWars2 widgets/ more GuildWars2 templates(Icons too)
Some new Guild Wars 2 themed things would be nice, such as forum buttons/ forum laylouts, and Forum Templates.

You cannot make another post so soon after your last REMOVED
Kill the timer that creates "You cannot make another post so soon after your last". If you want this in a non premium site then ok. But it need to be removed from paid sites.
Thank you.

Better spoiler code
The current spoiler bbcode being used is really sub-par. Something like this would be much better...
<div style="margin:0px; margin-top:0px"><div class="smallfont" style="margin-bottom:2px"><b>Spoiler:</b><input type="button" value="Show" style="width:45px;font-size:10px;margin:0px;padding:0px;" onClick="if (this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display != '') { this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display = ''; this.innerText = ''; this.value = 'Hide'; } else { this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display = 'none'; this.innerText = ''; this.value = 'Show'; }"></div><div class="alt2" style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px inset;"><div style="display: none;">
<!---hidden content--->
<!---this is where you'd put that one word in brackets that I can't remember what it is for phpBB3 which lets the forum know this is where input content goes--->
<!---end hidden content--->
</div></div></div></td>7 votesThis has been updated.

automatically provide a linkable image when you resize a image in the forums
The problem I have with the resizing of forum images people post, is that it resizes the image, but doesn't allow you to click on the resized image to view it fully.
4 votesAs Woodpeckersam kindly pointed out: When you create a post click “Extra BBCodes” → Scroll down to “Resizable Image” → Paste the link to the image between the BBCode and you can do this.

Split Stephen Johnston's WYSWIG FAQ from the discussion threads that follow for better ease of use for new Guild members.
Stephen Johnson posted an excellent introductory FAQ for the WYSWYIG Editor. However, this FAQ is hard to locate using the seemingly obvious Search Box in the Support Forums. A search for WYSIWYG, returns no results.
Furthermore, the Boolean search option is virtually incomprehensible to new users unfamiliar with database search engines and their rather technical syntax..
The discussion thread that follows Stephen's FAQ quickly become a major distraction to a casual viewer, and is filled with technical jargon. Questions are interspersed with user and Support replies. There is no clear indication of an "official" GL "Answer".
My suggestion is to…
3 votesThis has just been split out so the topic is its own thread (without any of the replies) on the Site News area of the site.

Add class & race to forum info (tera)
I'd really like my members and I to be able to choose not only our character but our class & race as well.
This would be shown in our profile/character info as well as on the forums by either icon or wording.
Would help alot with quick posts about heals/tank/dps.3 votesThe character information on the roster includes race and class, which looks like it’s displaying properly. I’m glad to revisit this if you’re looking for something else, though!

Allow users to hide signatures
An option to hide sigs. I'm shocked that this is not a thing already. I don't mind people having whatever sigs they want to have but, most forums are a crowded mess of visual dolphin squeaks.
3 votesThis is already in the system. You can disable all signatures on the Admin Menu → Features → Forums → Settings area of your site, and disable individual user signatures on the Admin Menu → Permissions → Member Moderation area of the site.

Add a PM (Private Messaging) feature that is manageable from the Admin panel.
Adding a PM feature would allow guild members to communicate with one another similar to what they do with their Facebook pages. This will make it less likely that a guild will need a FB page since it will offer them the same type of resource on their guild page. I believe a lot of users would enjoy this feature!
3 votesThere already is a private message feature in place. On any Guild Launch site, click the envelope in the top right corner (next to your forum handle when logged in) to see your private messages.

Link to Forum Post
Could we get a feature that gives an anchor link to every forum post? That way we can insert links in our website that brings you directly to that forum thread with the relevant post at the top of the page.
2 votesEach forum post does have an anchor link – there is a white Page icon next to the post subject which provides that link. Sorry for the confusion!
