This is an area where Gamer Launch users can suggest ideas on how to improve Gamer Launch functionality! When opening an idea, be sure to check out our Feature Request article for some guidelines.

How can we make Guild Launch better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. MS Excel integration

    Hi guys,
    I'm sure that a Excel grid integration could be very useful.
    It's cuold be used to store a guild member tax payment, or a equipe details, etc etc.
    Could you please send me a feed about this kind of idea?

    Something along these lines can be done with tables in a custom section, but we are not currently planning to integrate Excel docs.

  2. Wartune character

    Please add game provider in the dropdown for a wartune character.
    There are several sites that host the wartune game:
    Kongregate
    Armor games
    Kabam
    Yahoo
    Wartune .com

    A specific site admin can add this as a custom roster column, but it’s not something that will be added to the game itself.

  4. Just a small update on the Boss Strat widget

    Was just thinking that if it is possible ta add a boss drop field in the Boss Strat widget. That way i dont have to use up my description limit on drops from the bosses.

  5. cyber monster guild roster auto update

    I would like to see the the guild roster auto update member lvls, say if a character lvls up in game have it sent to the website to automatically update on the server roster, so that we dont have to keep going back n changing lvls every time we lvl up

    We would like to do this, but it doesn’t look like Cyber Monster has the API available for us to do so.

  6. Hovering Notification Window

    To have the ability to create a Notification Window that hovers over the home page for important announcements. It would have an upside down triangle with an ! in it that would be under the words of the notice.

    guild members would have to click on an "OK" button to remove it.

    You can do something like this manually with Javascript in an HTML widget, but it’s not currently something we plan to implement as an automated feature.

  7. Configurable RSS Cache

    Allow configurable cache intervals for RSS feed widget.
    It appears to be a 60 minute cache, but this is not clearly stated.
    Some RSS feeds are more dynamic than this, so smaller intervals would be preferable in some cases.
    The ability to override the cache settings to 15/30/45/60 minutes as an example.

  8. Add Class Icons to the Guild Summary widget for Allods Online.

    The Guild summary widget is great but could be even better with Game specific icons for classes (In this case Allods Online). It would also be good to have these icons then available for use on the roster as well if desired. e.g. [icon] [Class Name Text]

  9. Guild "News" widget link or RSS feed to Facebook group

    A widget that would feed Guild News to a chosen Facebook group page would be perfect as Facebook has removed this option from their end of things.

  10. Guild Summary Widget - ability to show only main chars

    Currently we have 71 characters in roster but just 32 members total. I'd like the ability to only show Main characters on the Guild Summary Widget to show a more accurate representation how big our guild is.

    It’s a good idea conceptually, but actually implementing it would be a problem – the information isn’t readily available in a port-able format. This can be done manually with an HTML widget, though!

  12. New Widget (Current User)

    A simple widget that shows the user currently logged on.
    Ideal for a side column widget. It should show:

    Username
    Rank on Site
    number of private messages unread
    link to edit profile
    link to edit character
    link to pending guild apps (Only visible if you have such permission)
    logout

    Most of this is already available on the top menu bar. I’ll talk to our developers about making it more prominent, but I don’t think it’s going to be taking the form of a widget.

  14. Automatic in game guild updates ( new members, boss kills ect)

    To have an addon of some sort that tracks guild activity such as new member addition, member removal, boss kills, guild achievements.

    For most games, we do not have the capability to make this sort of add-on; for those that do, we try to implement the functionality.

  15. Summary

    Right now you got Summary for Levels and Race it be nice to See Ranks may be a way to see alts. when people go to add a character then pick what one is main and the others are alts. then the summary can add alt the alts up and the mains. eq2 got some thing like this on the website. i was thinking it be cool to have on GL
