This is an area where Gamer Launch users can suggest ideas on how to improve Gamer Launch functionality! When opening an idea, be sure to check out our Feature Request article for some guidelines.

If you are requesting that a game be added to the system, you want the Game Requests forum instead.

How can we make Guild Launch better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Aura Kingdom - Default across all guilds

    Now that AK is in Beta, and it's been confirmed you get your second class at 40, perhaps one might consider adding it as a default across all AK guilds character... thing, because it IS a Character Info...

    I haven’t been able to confirm this on our end, and haven’t gotten a follow-up. :( We will gladly revisit it if we can get more information on it, though!

  2. Ranks

    Make it so that it's possible to add multiple ranks at the same time, rather than just one at a time.

  3. Character Grouping By Game

    My character list, of unguilded chars., is mixed together in 1 long list. It would be a lot better if there were separation by game so I can easily find a specific character.

  4. Ultima Online has several freeshards you do not list in the Servers List. My UO Guild is on the Ultima Online Forever shard, or UOF.

    Add freeshard servers to the Ultima Online game shard list. such as:

    We only provide support for official UO servers, not third-party servers.

  5. Request of a "Recent visitors" track widget or a "Last 10 people" widget

    There is the Who's Online widget that is usefull. But I'm not on the website 100% time and I would like to be able to know when I log on who have come. so a widget tracking the visitors would be helpfull.

    While we aren’t currently planning to include a ‘Recent Visitors’ widget like you’re describing, you can check the Admin Menu → Rosters → Reports → Member Activity Reports to see the last login date of your users, so you can see who’s active and who’s not. :)

  6. Make uploading folders possible

    I put on my guild page a flipping book section but to make it work i had to use an esternal server data storage even though i still have a lot of unused space on my guild launch library.

  7. Show char

    On the char view where I can see my char's gear you could have it like the Armory advanced view so that I can see my gems and enchants so that I dont need to have the armory and wowlaunch page up.

  8. Other flavours of the image slider

    Would like to see other choosable flavours of the image slider, such as one that has arrow buttons left/right of the image which scrolls horizontally, and one that uses bullet points for selecting the last/previous image rather than a thumbnail of what's in the scroll area.

  9. Add more support for Dungeons and Dragons Online

    I'm glad to see a limited amount of support for DDO. Please continue to implement addtional support, as there are quite a few large guilds set up thru GL.

    Unfortunately, without a DB to pull the item hovers from, there isn’t much we can do on our end. :(

    While we are not currently planning to add this on our end, it can be done with an HTML widget on the user’s side.

  12. post's date change

    would be nice to be able to change the post's date for some thread, like the news for example, like if you are summing up what happened during the week etc.
    mainly as I'm copy/paste the news i had on wowstead of the last 3 years it would be cool to have them with the correct date.

    I can definitely understand why users would like this (especially with users who came over from WowStead), but now that threads can be migrated over from the archive directly, this should hopefully no longer be an issue. :)

  13. sub subforum

    Hello! I would like to have the sub subforum feature. would be cool to have it so you can actually group forums together instead of creating many category
    like raid-tact-SoO.

    This is not something we currently plan to implement, but you can do this with a Raids category, a Tactics forum and an individual subforum for each raid!

    Give admins the option to globally hide account names when a post as character has been set.

  15. Split/Merge Subject Retention

    When Splitting/Merging threads, keep the original Subjects from the 'child topic' that merges into the 'parent topic'. Currently, only the first post in the 'child topic' retains the original Subject, where as subsequent posts within the 'child topic' inherit the 'parent topic' Subject.

    We’re happy to look into more widgets to offer, but I’m not entirely clear on what this request is for. If we get more information I’ll definitely look into it further, though!

  17. Wow - Guild Import Filter

    When using the feature "import from Armory" could you implement a filter by date so it will only import users that have been active between two dates?

  18. Sort forum posts, or at least Stickies

    Please add the functionality to sort posts; perhaps with a leading code like *1, *2, etc.

    If not all posts, sort stickies with an alpha sort at the least.

    Posts are currently sorted by post date – we may revisit this in the future, but there’s not currently a plan to update this.

  20. Random Home Page Music Player multiple files playlist

    I would like to be able to have a person visit my guild website on the home page and the music that plays would be randomly selected from a playlist of files I have uploaded in my file library. Currently you can only have one music song playing that is loaded. A media player style type widget that can do a random playlist of up to 12 or so songs when a person visit web page would keep it fresh
