This is an area where Gamer Launch users can suggest ideas on how to improve Gamer Launch functionality! When opening an idea, be sure to check out our Feature Request article for some guidelines.

How can we make Guild Launch better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Servers

    Allow external server so clans can have them linked to their main page. TitanFall is due out & it would be nice to have a server for that game linked on our site. Black Ops, World at War, Modern Warfare, Battlefeild 4 & Battlefield 3 also. There ar servers for some games in the list but not for these ones.

    We may revisit this in a future release, but it isn’t currently planned for active development.

  2. Widget for SW:TOR conquests (part of upcoming game update 2.9)

    I am not sure how exactly it would be structured.
    But something with information on the current planet we are invading (set by the guild leader).
    Progress (which resets each week)
    and past progress
    Since it is only on the PTS right now there has not bee much officially put out but this may give more information

  3. Server status for all games supported by guildlaunch

    I play Star Trek Online, Neverwinter, and Game of Thrones Ascent. My guild website is dedicated to those games. I could really use a server status update for those three games. Why not just have a server status widget for all the games that guildlaunch supports?

    We need an API or XML feed for the game that is reliable to do server status. If those don’t exist we can’t make a widget for it. If you know one exists for a game and we don’t have a server status wudget for if please point us at it and we will do what we can.

  4. Automatic posting to twitter when raids start

    It would be nice if, with the twitter integration, you could add an option to post to the twitter account whenever a scheduled raid starts (or post x minutes beforehand). It would be very useful for mobile games that lack push notifications, as guild members could get notifications from twitter instead.

    Additionally, or perhaps instead, it would be nice if there was an easy interface/widget for officers and admins to be able to post messages to the linked twitter account.

  5. Scrolling (left to right) customizable text News Bar

    For 'Vital Updates to Guild/Fleet' to be shown in top middle of Guild Homepages >> Widget preferably.

    I used to PUT one into my website via HTML Editor Widget, then this website began to automatically reject it, it would never show again, no matter what I did.

    Would be nice to just have a Widget for such a basic News Bar/'News Flash' idea....

    This is not something that we are currently planning to implement on our end, but there is definitely functionality in place for some third party widgets like you’re describing through the HTML widget and the Google Gadget widget.

  6. Auto-update guild members loot (epic, legendary) widget (WoW)

    Get the guild members recent loot epic,legendary and auto-update automatically when the roster is automatically updated.

  8. Lottery widget and/or virtual currency function

    Just for the record i play EVE Online

    There is one similar post about a lottery idea and another about currency but not quite in the way i was thinking but these two points tie up my idea.

    A tool to upload an amount of ingame currency to a certain member to spend on my site in such events as lotteries and a random number generator tool, possibly only in a forum post for lottery results. An example of how it would work below...

  9. Guild News Widget Improvments

    I would like to request a few tweaks to the Guild News Widget.

    1. More News Button - Adding a more news button would be a good improvement allowing anyone to see, past news that may no longer be on the main page. This will clear up extra cluster with this widget, because you wouldn't need to add up to 10 post on it instead just have the option to see past threads or have multi tabs page 1 2 3 4 and so on.

  10. Server Status Widget for Star Trek Online and Champions Online

    I did some checking to see what would be needed to create server status widgets for Star Trek Online and Champions Online, and the guidelines for such a request indicate that an existing web page with this info is needed to make one. There seems to be a server status indicator now on the home pages of the respective games (http://sto.perfectworld.com and http://co.perfectworld.com) on the right hand columns on their home pages. Is there any way we can get that functionality onto widgets here at GuildLaunch?
