This is an area where Gamer Launch users can suggest ideas on how to improve Gamer Launch functionality! When opening an idea, be sure to check out our Feature Request article for some guidelines.

How can we make Guild Launch better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Integrate or use EQ2U

    Eq2Wire has a robust system that updates player information in almost real time. Can we get EQ2U integrated with our EQ2 guildlaunch sites, please?

    While we haven’t integrated EQ2U, we’ve just updated the system to pull in roster data and the like.

  2. City of Heroes Server Status Widget

    Other hosting services such as GuildPortal have this feature so I thought that since GuildLaunch is now a member of the NCSoft family along with CoH/CoV, then perhaps this would be an easy win for you & for us. :-)

    Since the game is shutting down at the end of the month, this is not planned development.

    This is something we would love to be able to do, but SWTOR has not opened up the API for third parties to gather this information. Until they do, we will not be able to implement this feature, but we are keeping a close eye on it! Hopefully with 1.2 we can do something more.

    We’re looking into a Guild Launch template, but a theme pack is not currently planned functionality.

  5. having are own personal webdesigns for are profile page but have the home the same.

    letting us have are own design for are own profile and having the home screen have the homepage the leader set it to.

    There are currently plans underway for some changes to the user profile, but letting users design it themselves is currently not planned functionality.

    This is not something we are currently planning to implement.

  7. See what is in the kin house chests

    I run a site for Lord of the Rings Online. Is there a possibility to be able to see what is in the Kin house chests by the way of the bank?

    Wouldn't want any more functionality than that. It is just so members can see what is in the kin house chests out of game.

    This is something that we would love to add, but Turbine does not provide the information necessary for us to access it on-site.

  8. Allow subfolders in File Library

    I've uploaded a lot of emoticons to File Library (it's not possible to store them elsewhere) and now there is a mess.
    It would be nice if I could create subfolders - for emoticons, music, site images/css/js etc.

    We’ve recently upgraded our file library, but adding subfolders is not currently planned functionality.

  9. Maybe Try to add a better PvP interface

    Tahaddi Challenge is predominantly a PvP guild. We used to spend much time with PvE but found that PvP was something that became more pronounced with us over time. Now with the new changes to WoW and the Rated Battlegrounds, it might be nice to see Guild Launch put a little more into PvP and automated character information regarding PvP. Maybe some detailed information on specific arena teams, rated battlegrounds and general world PvP would be a nice added change and would be enjoyed very much by those of us that spend more than 75% of our time in the…

    This is definitely something we would like to do, but there is only so much data we can pull automatically; you can track the data manually in a custom section/page, though!

  10. Title

    Add a feature for site admins to change the title of the page, or all pages at one time. Instead of having Home: Guild Name - Server as the title.

  11. Simplify the signup process

    Simplify the signup process so that it automatically signs the person up to a guild. We have lots of people who get confused for some reason and end up only signing up to GL and not the guild.

    The current method of registering an account makes it so that people can apply to guilds, giving guild site owners the opportunity to accept or deny them. Automatically joining a guild site at signup would circumvent security procedures and potentially set it up so that people who are not a part of a guild, kinship, corp, etc. could join and cause problems without the guild site owner having control over it. The way things are currently done, the site owner has complete control over what is going on.

  12. Allow guildlaunch GMs to choose the Ads that display.

    Just as it says, please allow us to pick what advertisements we have displayed. I have lost many of my WoW guildmates to RIFT. The only add shown and it is blasted in large display all over my page is RIFT.
